Online crime protector GuardID raises $11 million in Series B

GuardID LogoSan Mateo, California based company GuardID that protect users from identity theft and other online crimes, has raised an amount of $11 million in the Series B of funding. The round was lead by the new investor PrismVentureWorks. The service protect the user data specially when there is an online financial transaction.

Since the launch of the company, it has gained a lot of popularity and now contains tens of thousands of customers in all the states of the U.S.

The round was participated by the existing investor Trinity Ventures along with Intersections Inc. Previously the company has raised an amount of $5 million.
