FuseJobs.co.uk - London Calling: Entry Level Jobs
2008-06-30 02:40:00 by HASH0x8b527e0 in KillerStartups.com - all

What it does

Everyone has to start from somewhere, whether it be at Micky D's or personal assistant. And, unless you're a lucky child born with a silver spoon growing from your lips, entry level is the way to go to get anywhere. Luckily, there's a lot of entry level work to be. So being somewhat choosy is an option. If you're UK-based, and in London, you might want to check out FuseJobs, a new database for finding entry level jobs. FuseJobs resembles Monster.com in that it has job advice, advisors, and a job search engine based on sector and trade. You can filter searches by date and location as well. So far, there are over 20,000 jobs available in services ranging from truck driving to bar keeping to fundraiser. There's even a skills match feature for helping you find a job that matches your skills and abilities. It's also free to use, so if you're ready and willing to work, FuseJobs is there for you.

In their own words

"London's entry-level job site'

Why it might be a killer

FuseJobs is a clever idea. Entry-level jobs are usually the norm on job boards, but having one that's exclusively geared toward entry-level is helpful and more efficient. This way, job seekers know what's out there, what they can handle, and where to go to get the job.

Some questions

Will it be successful? How will it generate revenue? Will users be satisfied with the diversity and types of jobs offered on the site.
