Developer Series 2008
2008-02-23 17:00:42 by Tariq Bamadhaj in Eten Blog dot Com

Well guys, the first Developer Series at Eten Blog has just ended and I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate the links to all 4 parts here and provide a short summary. This way, those who are just joining us, would find it easier for to follow it. In future series, I will be do this summary before the series start and update it accordingly so it would benefit everyone as well.

Part I

In this part, the 5 representatives from WebIs, SBSH, IliumSoft, DinarSoft and Spb introduce themselves and their companies. I ask some personal questions and get a feel how 2007 was for them. I also opened the floor to the readers to ask these developers questions they had on their mind which would be answered in the fourth and final part.

Part II

Following up on last week, I ask them what they learnt from 2007 that will help them in 2008 and beyond. I also get them to share with us their best-selling software for the previous year and their opinion on why it did so well.

Part III

With the time for the readers to ask the questions closed, I turned back to my questions to the developers which dealt with their future plans. On top of that, I learn what they were looking forward to in 2008 besides their companies and applications.

Part IV

In this last part, questions from the readers were fielded and the developers didn’t fail to answer them. It was a nice way to end the series, especially more so when the developers sprang a nice prize giveaway surprise at the end.
